Meet the Team
Stephen A. Vinson, EdD, LCSW-QS
Clinician | Educator | Researcher
Licensed in Florida, Texas, and Virginia | Qualified Supervisor (Florida)
Hi, I'm Stephen.
I became a therapist because I believe people are capable of more than they often give themselves credit for, and sometimes the right support at the right time makes all the difference. That belief drives everything I do in the therapy room, in the classroom, and in the community.
I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and groups navigating a wide range of challenges, including ADHD and impulsivity, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, parenting, divorce, relationship concerns, and questions of racial and cultural identity. My style is warm, direct, and engaging. I tailor sessions using approaches such as play therapy, experiential activities, reflection, and practical skill-building so therapy feels meaningful, active, and connected to your goals.
My approach is shaped by years of clinical training and research that matters to me personally. My doctoral work at Florida State University focused on the mental health and lived experiences of Black males navigating predominantly White environments, which deepened my commitment to culturally aware, identity-affirming care for every client I serve.
I also serve as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice in Social Work at the University of West Florida, where I bring real clinical experience into the classroom and invest in the next generation of helping professionals.
As a Qualified Supervisor in Florida, I also have the privilege of mentoring and supervising clinicians who are working toward their own licensure, work I find deeply meaningful.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: I want every person I work with to feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported as they work toward the life they want.

Danielle Vinson, LCSW
Clinician | Researcher | PhD Student
Licensed in Florida, Texas and Virginia
Hey there, My name is Danielle.
I became a therapist because I believe people deserve a space where they can be honest about what they are carrying without fear of judgment. Whether I am working with an individual, a couple, or a family, my goal is to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and move toward a life that feels more present, balanced, and authentic.
I work primarily with couples and women who have experienced trauma, while also supporting adults and families navigating life's challenges. My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and understood, and I strive to create that environment in every session.
My approach is holistic and tailored to the person in front of me. I recognize that this journey is influenced by our experiences, relationships, environment, and the stories we tell ourselves. Together, we explore patterns, build practical tools, and work toward meaningful change that extends beyond the therapy room.
In addition to my clinical work, I am currently pursuing a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy, deepening my understanding of relationships, systems, and the ways people grow and heal in connection with others.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: I want every client to know that they matter, their story matters, and they do not have to navigate life's challenges alone.
